Continuation on Resisting The Temptation......

I discussed in my last post on keeping an ideal image in your mind of what you want to look like when faced with temptation to engage in unhealthy eating habits and/or lack of dedication to exercise ....even if the other person is not. This other person doesn't have to be your spouse or significant other. This other person(or temptation) can be your best friend, co-worker, neighbor, prayer partner, mom, dad.....the list goes on and on!!!

Here are a few additional tips to help Resist The Temptation:

1) Eat before you go--Going long periods of time without eating leadsl to overeating. Have a small snack so that you're are not on an empty stomach before going out. Especially before attending a party or social where food is served.
(I use this tip often)

2) Avoid the snacking or munching area-- Don't hang around the food table. Get one serving and move on.

3)Watch your level of alcohol consumption--Alcohol is full of empty calories and people tend to overeat because the resistance to food fades.

4)Have a controlled portion of your favorite--You are human and have certain foods you enjoy and if you don't ever treat yourself you may get frustrated and rebound. Moderation not overindulging!!
