SAFE STRETCHING

* Stretch everyday
Even on the days you don't plan to exercise, take some time to stretch all of your major muscle groups. This will help your muscles to regenerate properly.
*Stretch when your muscles are warm.
When you are stretching cold muscles, you could risk possible injury.
*Don't force it
Don't try to force your body into a position it's not ready for. Stretch only to the point of tension, not pain.
*Breath!
Your body needs more oxygen when it is stressed. If you hold your breath, your body tends to tense up, which is the opposite of what you want.

Heart Healthy Recipe for Blueberry Oat Muffins!!

1 1/4 cup oats(uncooked)
1 1/4 cup low fat buttermilk
1 whole egg, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons canola oil
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup whole-wheat flour
1/3 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries(do not thaw)
