ARE YOU DRINKING ENOUGH WATER DAILY???

It is a New Year and its time for you to begin drinking more water! Drinking water every day is vital to maintaining good health. Your body is made up mostly of water, so replenishing the body with simple H2O instead of filling up on soda or sugary fruit juices would be the best solution? Also, it is important to know that the brain often mistakes thirst for hunger? Before making your way to the nearest snack machine, try drinking a couple glasses of water and waiting about 20 minutes. It is very possible that your craving may just go away.

So how much water do you really need? At least half of your body weight is water. Some data shows eight ounces of water eight times a day would be a healthy amount of water per day, but there's no strong scientific evidence to support that recommendation. Some experts actually recommend 13 glasses for men and 9 for women! Again, no strong evidence to support this statement. However, it may seem like a lot of water, but your body loses about 10 glasses in the course of a day. And if you're pregnant, exercising, or breastfeeding, or you live in a hot or humid climate, your water loss is greater, so you should increase your intake!

Today....we are drinking more water!!!
